Regent plots 59-night S. America voyage Thirty-six ports in 15 countries are on tap for Seven Seas Mariner’s 59-night ‘Circle South America’ voyage in 2007. The all-balcony-suite ship will operate roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, sailing on Jan. 9.
Six overnights in port and seven complimentary shoreside events are planned. Jean-Michel Cousteau be aboard as a guest lecturer during the Amazon segment with representatives of his Ocean Futures Society.
Segments of 11 to 19 nights are offered. Passengers can extend the trip into a 73-night program by embarking in Los Angeles on Dec. 26 for a trans-canal holiday cruise prior to the South America voyage.
Those who book the full 59-night circumnavigation get free first-class air from 86 North American gateways, up to $1,000 per suite in shipboard credits and an overnight at The Biltmore in Coral Gables, Fla.
