NCL Jewel Med 2007 Norwegian Cruise Line is to deploy new ship Norwegian Jewel in the Mediterranean in 2007 for the second successive summer.
Next year's fly-cruises from Barcelona have gone on sale early with prices starting at £799 - £50 less than this summer's rates. Cruise-only rates for seven nights start at £699.
The ship will operate from the Spanish city from June 25, 2007 with an itinerary calling at ports for Sicily, Naples, Rome, Florence and Pisa, and Nice.
NCL is offering cruise and stay packages including two nights accommodation in Barcelona starting at £159 per person pre- or post-cruise.
UK general manager Frances Riley said: "We took a big step bringing a brand new ship back to Europe in 2006, one that has really paid off.
"We have seen healthy support from travel agents for the NCL Mediterranean product and this is reflected in the bookings. This has in turn enabled us to put the 2007 season on sale at our earliest ever date."
Meanwhile, NCL has also issued details of 2007 Alaska sailings based on three ships, Norwegian Sun, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Pearl – to be launched in November – sailing in the region between May and September.
Cruise-only prices start at £559.
