Celebrity Alaska 2007 Bookings opened today for Celebrity Cruises’ 2007 Alaska season when Summit, Infinity and Mercury return to the 49th state. The season includes two new West Coast wine cruises.
Infinity will reprise its weekly Hubbard Glacier cruises roundtrip from Vancouver, with departures on Sundays and calls at Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point. Infinity’s program is bookended by 13-night positioning voyages between San Francisco and Vancouver.
Summit resumes its weekly northbound cruises from Vancouver on alternating Fridays; southbound cruises are from Seward. Ports on both routes are Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan, with scenic cruising of Hubbard Glacier. Summit’s season begins with a 13-night cruise from Los Angeles to Vancouver and ends with a 14-night sailing from Vancouver to San Diego.
Mercury’s program will be preceded by Celebrity’s first cruise focused on West Coast winemaking areas. The seven-night voyage sails from San Francisco to Vancouver via Monterey, Astoria, Seattle and Victoria. From Vancouver, Mercury will operate a seven-night cruise to Seattle, its homeport for a season of weekly roundtrips calling at Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, with scenic cruising of Hubbard Glacier.
Mercury ends the season with a second wine-country-themed sailing. The ship departs Vancouver on Nov. 2 for a 10-night cruise to San Diego with calls at Victoria, Seattle, Astoria and Catalina Island, plus an overnight in San Francisco.
