Carnival Freedom will debut in March 2007 with new 12-day cruises that include Carnival Cruise Lines’ first visit to the Greek Isles and Turkey, as well as extended calls at a variety of Mediterranean ports.
The 110,000gt Carnival Freedom’s inaugural season kicks off March 14 and includes seven Mediterranean & Greek Isles cruises and 12 ‘Grand Mediterranean’ voyages through Oct. 16, 2007. All sailings operate roundtrip from Civitavecchia.
The Mediterranean & Greek Isles route takes in eight ports: an overnight in Civitavecchia (for Rome), Naples and Livorno, Italy; Rhodes, Piraeus and Katakolon, Greece; and Izmir (for Ephesus) and Istanbul, Turkey.
Seven ports are featured on the ‘Grand Mediterranean’ itinerary: Naples, Livorno, Venice (two days) and Messina (Sicily), Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Barcelona, Spain; and Cannes, France.
Per person, double-occupancy prices begin at $999 for the 12-day Mediterranean & Greek Isles cruises and at $1,449 for the ‘Grand Mediterranean’ cruises. Air supplements from a variety of North American gateways are available.
