Default Open up the world for our children

I will soon be teaching a year 5 (9-10yrs) class of children for the year and I am passionate about widening the horizons of children about thier world. I want to know if there are any magazines suitable for children that do this, a magazine that summarizes countries giving information and facts but also highlight fun stuff about places.
