Serious injuries' in fog pile-up in the UK Police say a number of people have been seriously injured in a crash involving up to 30 cars on a Kent road. The accident, which took place at about 1625 BST on the A20, four miles outside Dover, is believed to have been caused by dense fog and rain. Six fire crews, police and a Red Cross vehicle are currently at the scene. The coast bound carriageway of the A20 has been closed and drivers are being warned to avoid the Folkestone and Dover area.
