Default 34 Days on the Road

Looks like I'll be on the road 34 days (March - May). This should put me over the top with enough hotel points for the free cruise.

Great news! The cruise part that is. What exactly do you "do", if you don't mind me asking?

34 days on the road ANYWHERE would be great, IMHO. I take that its for the job, which would definately be fun, for me anyway, cos I love aviation

Last summer, instead of cruising we spent 46 days touring the U.S. We started at Mt. Rushmore then Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Salt Lake City, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Durango, Colorado, Mesa Verde Vail etc. THEN we drove thru Georgia, Tenn.,Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Penn, Down to North Carolina, Jekyll Island, Savannah, Jacksonville Beach and finally back home here in Braden River. This year, we have just returned from 10 days up in Illinois, leave in March for a 22 day cruise/tour of South America, go to California for 10 days in July. In the Fall we will go to the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, turn West to Lafayette, La., then on to Austin, Tx, before returning to Braden River. Whew!! Oh yeah, we have travelled to 42 countries around the world (in our "spare time").

Rick, I would love to be able to travel that extensively. Unfortunately its the lack of finances rather than a lack of spare time that has curtailed my adventures.

Well I must admit, although I was not in the military, Uncle Sam did pay for some of my travels while I represented this great country overseas. Other trips, such as our elephant expedition in the lower Himalayas was "out of pocket".
