 Taj Hotels Plans Cape Town Property
Indian Hotels Company, which owns and operates 75 Taj Hotels Resorts andPalaces, has partnered with developer Eurocape for a new luxury hotel andresidences in Cape Town, South Africa. The Taj luxury hotel, slated to openin 2008, does not yet have an official name but will be part of the $137.9 million Mandela Rhodes Place lifestyle complex. The $41 million hotel will have 174 rooms and 20 residences. Two additional hotels are planned for Johannesburg and Durban.
