Default Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company Announces St. Lucia Resort

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. has announced plans to open The Ritz-Carlton, St Lucia, and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, St Lucia, a 275-room oceanfront resort and residential retreat situated on Half Moon Bay, near Laborie, St. Lucia. All rooms will have ocean views as well as views of St. Lucia?s Piton volcanoes. The project will feature a 20,000 square-foot-spa and access to two 18-hole golf courses overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with a shared clubhouse facility. Arnold Palmer will design the main golf course, with eventual plans for a second golf course designed in a links style by the Irish golf course architect Christy O?Connor Jr. The resort will include a specialty restaurant with pool grill, a 30-seat lobby lounge, a 130-seat clubhouse restaurant and bar, and 7,000 square feet of meeting space. The Ritz-Carlton, St. Lucia is projected to open in 2009. For more information visit [www.ritzcarlton.com] or call 800-241-3333.

There is so much beauty in St. Lucia, it reminds me of the lush tropical areas of Hawaii. I'm sure these hotels will be good for their economy!
