Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Castle & Cooke have confirmed a $50 million enhancement and rebranding for the boutique Lodge at Koele in upcountry Lanai. Work is scheduled to begin in late August and conclude in mid-November; when it is completed, the 102-room property will be rebranded as the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele. Improvements to rooms and suites will include signature Four Seasons beds, 42-inch flat-screen televisions, high-speed Internet access, carpeting and coffeemakers. In the public areas, the Great Hall, the restaurants and the bar will receive new furniture and fabrics. A games room will be added, as well. A pagoda imported from China will be installed on the grounds. After the property is rebranded, work will begin on a destination spa and wellness center in a garden setting planned to open in 2008.
