We were in Tahiti when CNN had the huge breaking news coverage with the tsunami alert etc. As it turned out, it amounted to almost nothing. Our biggest problem was the heavy rains in NZ which closed a few roads due to mudslides. Some photos of these, and other shots of NZ and Tahiti and Bora Bora are found on my blog on journalspace, and others will be appearing on the German website which has hosted so many of my trip pictures before. |
