| Double AAdavantage miles for passengers on New York’s JFK to St. Kitts Quote:
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 2007 (CUOPM) - Travelers who fly on American Airlines new route between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and St. Kitts and Nevis’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport beginning this Sunday, will earn double AAdvantage miles for every qualifying round trip or one-way trip through Feb. 12, 2008.
American Airlines said the AAdvantage bonus-mile offer may be earned an unlimited number of times for travel from JFK to St. Kitts and Nevis from Nov. 18, 2007, through Feb. 12, 2008.
“To qualify, AAdvantage members must purchase a valid published-fare ticket and register prior to travel at "+titleText+" using promotion code NYCRB,” said the news release.
American will offer the only nonstop service currently scheduled between the New York area and St. Kitts and Nevis, a twin-island paradise located just east of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The airline said it will fly the route twice weekly - on Wednesdays and Sundays - with Boeing 757 aircraft, configured with 22 seats in First Class and 166 seats in the Economy cabin.
“Earlier this year we made it clear that American Airlines intends to be the preferred airline in New York, and our new nonstop service to St. Kitts and Nevis is part of that commitment,' said American's Vice President of Passenger Sales in the Greater New York, Chuck Imhof. .........
