Bad Habits whilst flying Space and comfort are most important to airline passengers, with a third identifying those who recline their seats and crush those sitting behind as the worst example of in-flight bad behaviour.
Being kicked in the back of your seat (28%) was the second most annoying in-flight habit, according to a poll of more than 1,250 people by flight comparison website Cheapflights.co.uk.
Drinking too much and displaying drunken behaviour in-flight (9%) came in next.
Other bad habits identified in the poll were stray elbows digging into your neighbour (8%), constant chattering and excess luggage (both 5%) and attempting to be the in-flight DJ by playing your music too loud (3%).
People eating smelly food came last, taking only 1% of the vote.
