Question What Size Cruise Ships

What type of cruise ship do you like? The small traditional size, the medium modern size or the giant size like Freedom of The seas?

I like medium sized ships. The big ones seem more like amusement parks. Our next cruise is on Galaxy which is a nice size and I also like the Radiance class ships from RCCL.

Would it be fair to say I prefer a large ship with a small passenger capacity? In my limited experience, Holland America Lines ships come closest to this description.

I haven't really done a "small" ship. I guess the Sun Princess was the smallest, although she was the biggest on the ocean when launched. We really liked her. The Island Princess was a good size, and the Grand Princess, although very large, didn't feel like it. We're booked on the Freedom next November as part of the CLF group cruise. Not sure if we'll actually make it, but if we do I'm sure it'll be interesting.
