We were in turkey 4 weeks ago , and it was unbelieveble for us . this was our first cruise from princes cruise lines and was very special for me and for my husband . we first stopped at kusadasi port and there we booked a trip to ephesus and virgin mary's house from neopolistour with a very reasonable price compared to the tours being sold at the cruise. our guide ily from neopolistour met us at the gate of port and took us to his vip non smoking vehicle mercedes and we reached ephesus after 20 minutes . it was very crowded inside and too much hot . so bring your wide brim hats or umbrellas and some water . he kept talking about ephesus all two hours . sometimes we were not listening to him as there were too many ruins to see and to take photos . and ily arranged our istanbul tour from neopolistour again for a very reasonable price . hope u can reach neopolistour but demand ily as a guide . tnx to them all and especially to ily

This is an important review for me as I am always trying to decide which cruise line offers the best trips. I am not necessarily always looking for the cheapest, rather the best trip for what I pay. We have travelled Royal Carribean more than any other line and been pleased. We have never travelled Princess and now I am thinking this Turkey trip sounds great. Did you find it difficult to arrange a tour off the ship that wasn't connected to the ship excursions? Did you feel rushed or was there plenty of time during the excursion? Turkey is definitely a place we would love to see. You just reminded me to keep it in mind for a future cruise.

we did it when we were in turkey ... after we booked our trip to ephesus , they met us at the front of of the gate of the port and took us to ephesus in an airrconditoned bus . our guide was so kind and we were not in a hurry compared to group tours and we enjoyed all the ruins in ephesus and around it . kusadasi was also great and wort seeing . when you go as kusadasi old neopolis ephesus daily tours you can find a good one for yourself .
