Smile Silja and Tallink to Merge

Silja Line and Tallink Grupp AS are merging to form an integrated company that will handle six million passengers a year and become the largest cruise operator on the Baltic Sea. The new company's ships will continue to operate under their current flags and the new combined firm will have a total of 21 vessels on routes between Finland, Estonia, Germany, Latvia and Sweden. Silja Line cruise ships offer amenities ranging from restaurants to live entertainment, from casinos and spas to supervised children's activity centers. The company's sailings between Finland and Sweden will maintain the current timetables, prices and other existing conditions. SuperSeaCat operations between Helsinki and Tallinn will also operate the same way as before and all Silja Line contact information remains the same. For further information, visit the Finnish Tourist Board online at [www.visitfinland.com/na] or [www.finlandkingsroad.com]. For Silja Line bookings see SeaEurope Holidays' site, [www.silja.us].
