There have been a few reports drifting through regarding sailings being shortened and/or cancelled due to the cricket in the Caribbean next April.


Carnival have cancelled one of their sailings due to the ship being chartered on the 22nd April. NCL shortened a Panama repo due to the same thing.

Anyone who has paid a deposit on a cruise just before or during the competition would be advised to make absolutely sure that the cruise booked is indeed sailing.

This competition runs from March 5th thru April 28th 2007 and will affect Barbados, St Lucia, Jamaica, Antigua, Barbuda, Grenada, Guyana, St Kitts & Nevis, Trinidad, Tobago and St Vincent.

If at all in doubt about your cruise, contact the cruise lines/TA's. Charters will probably still be booked right up til around November this year.
